'Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public\'s assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery with bodily force. On Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:09 pm, an unknown Hispanic male and Hispanic female were shopping at the Food Town, located at 442 West Little York, in Houston, Texas. The male placed several items in the female’s purse, which was in the shopping cart, while shopping within the store. The male and female then paid for the items in the shopping cart without making any attempts to pay for the items that were placed in the purse. A loss prevention employee witnessed the incident and attempted to stop the suspect outside the store. The male suspect then assaulted the loss prevention employee, but was unable to get away with the stolen items as well as the female’s Nine West purse. The female also left the shopping cart with the paid items at the store as they fled the scene. HPD case #1577805-18 Suspect description: Suspect #1: Hispanic male, 40’s, 5’7, 230 to 235 pounds and large build. Suspect #2: Hispanic female, 40’s, 5’7 and large build. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
