'Christmas Eve Chinese food? Yeah, it\'s a tradition... One of my fond memories of my father and our travels when I was a young buck, was he took the whole family out to San Francisco one year for Christmas. We stayed at a very fancy hotel and went and saw and did a lot of things. Fisherman\'s Wharf, Alcatraz, etc. etc. But one of the things that stood out in my memory the most was going out to eat at a Chinese restaurants in China Town and a Japanese place just outside of China Town. On Christmas Eve and Christmas day.... Because, as my father explained, they have a different religion, December 25th is just another day to them and THEY ARE OPEN so let\'s go eat! And let me tell you, the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown are awesome! Ever since I got to be an adult, taking my family out for Chinese food on or about Christmas day has become one of my recent traditions, in memory of my mother and father. I like good Chinese food... And sharing a treasured memory with my family just makes it a bit better. So, today, I woke up early and put Penelope Cruz all back together and declared her roadworthy, finally! Penelope and I will take Mrs P out for a lunch/dinner FEAST of Chinese food and go get stuffed! And probably bring home several boxes of leftovers we will be eating on for the next few days.... I am a sucker for good pork fried rice with lots of BBQed pork in it! Penelope got to stretch her legs a bit... As you will see in the video. Enjoy riding along with us for our yearly tradition.
