Bamboo shoot is the most important ingredient in Arunachali Food culture or we can say the only main ingredient in Arunachali Cuisine. It is used in almost every dish we prepare. Arunachali food is incomplete without bamboo shoot. I realize that when I was in college and missed my home cooked meal. So what I did is prepare bamboo shoot pickle and took it with me to my hostel and i really loved it. Also Pork pickle. Meat in pickle form?????? Sounds crazy???? Not to me
